Mesa M3
Product Description
Designed and built in Constructo’s workshop located in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the Mesa M3 is a piece made from American maple wood with a clear finish and thick tempered glass top. Inspiration for this piece comes from the study of formations and complex patterns that occur naturally in the natural world. Mangrove roots sand dunes and the skin of giraffes are some references that suggested the three-dimensional contours of this unique table.

About the Designer
Born in Puerto Rico in 1978, Oscar Ramos sees design everywhere. His definition of design clouds around the idea it is the composition of various elements, whether formal, theoretical, colorful, dull, expressive or impassive that produce a desired effect. He has always been interested in building or inventing new things.
Born in 1981 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Javier Olmeda Raya draws inspiration from geometry itself, and is interested on how natural formations yield complex design patterns, algorithms and formulas which can be geometrically described and applied to the product design process, easily translated to the physical world through CAD/CAM/CNC technologies.
