The origins of Italian knife building date back to the 15th century, when the first "Coltellinai Masters" published statutes to protect and structure the knife trade in Europe. The first traces of Saladini blades date back to the middle of the nineteenth century, where a population census on behalf of Pieve di Fagna in Scarperia says that the Saladini family produced knives under the name Maestri Coltellinai. Since then, they have succeeded in making generations of knives with the same passion and tradition. creating a wide range of table and kitchen cutlery, table accessories, corkscrews and cutters.
