Cradle is a new kind of rocking chair that combines the circular shape of a papasan with a rocking frame. This exquisitely handcrafted chair is a stunning visual element and a cozy spot to sit or lounge in a variety of positions. The frame is Marine ply with natural cotton & wool upholstery for a rustic, minimal look. It was handmade in New Zealand from local materials, and is a truly unique piece of furniture.

About the Designer
Richard Clarkson is a product & furniture designer originally from New Zealand. Currently studying in New York, he believes that the thinking behind objects tells more of a story than the objects themselves. This ideology is what drives his design process, along with a desire to reconcile traditional manufacturing techniques with modern technology.
