This is an original animation cel used to create frames in 'Back to the Future: The Animated Series'. An animation cel is a transparent plastic sheet on which individual frames of an animation are meticulously drawn or painted, playing a crucial role in traditional hand-drawn animation. It represents a single frame of the animation sequence and is stacked and photographed to create the illusion of motion. Although digital techniques are now more common, animation cels retain their historical and collectible significance as tangible remnants of the artistry and craftsmanship involved in traditional animation. Every cel is one-of-a-kind and can be matched with the animated series.
