1943 P BU Roll Pennies
Product Description
Offered here is a super rare, complete roll/solid date of 1943 P (Philadelphia) Lincoln steel cents. This is a complete roll of 50 pieces, all in Gem Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. This stunning roll has beautiful, bright luster and looks like they were just minted today. This BU roll is truly a rare find and is highly sought after by collectors. If you collect coins as an investment, this is the roll you want in your collection.
These rolls were sourced from an estate. The original owner purchased them back when they were minted and they have been stored perfectly since then. They are presented in the Original Bank Wrapper (OBW). It is extremely rare to find these coins in this condition with the OBW. These rolls are called “shotgun” rolls, due to the fact that they look like an actual shot gun shell.
The obverse (heads) shows the image of President Abraham Lincoln used on the penny since 1909. The shield on the reverse (tails) represents Lincoln's preservation of the United States as a single country. The reverse says, “Once Cent” and “United States of America”. The tails contain wheat stalks on the sides, which is why these are called wheat pennies.
