Brooklands // White Dial
Login for PriceProduct Description
Brooklands is a now disused motor racing circuit and airfield built near Weybridge in Surrey, England. Brainchild of Sir Hugh F. Locke-King and his wife Dame Ethel Locke-King (née Gore-Browne), it opened in 1907, and was the world's first oval-style motorsport venue. Charmex's chronograph Brooklands brings back memories of the early days of motor car racing; the stainless steel case with the embedded screws resembles the dashboard instruments and the genuine rubber strap adds to the perception. The sportive dial has a central stop watch second, a 30 minute and a 12 hour counter and displays the date at four o’clock.
