About the Designer

As a tribute to mathematics, freelance illustrator and digital artist Chaotic Atmospheres, aka Istvan, set out to illustrate mathematical attractors in their most dynamic parameters. Although based on mathematical formulas, Istvan’s goal isn’t to deduce any scientific breakthroughs; rather, it’s simply to produce aesthetically pleasing images that speak to the spectator. Istvan has long abandoned the idea that the concept within an image is more important than the image itself. Instead he finds experimental subjects and then creates images that enhance their most interesting forms. Based out of Geneva, Istvan now focuses primarily on 3D nature-themed collections created using generative art techniques. His collections have attracted the attention of diverse audiences and have been featured many times on Behance as well as on numerous other sites and blogs.
