When he founded his own Champagne House in 1811 Avize, the heart of the Côte des Blancs, Charles Gabriel de Cazanove was an ambitious 24-year-old that came from a long line of master glassmakers. Now, more than two centuries later, Champagne Charles De Cazanove is the last family-owned and operated house in Champagne. The head winemaker has directed the Maison’s winemaking for the last thirty years, allowing him to develop a unique style. The name Charles de Cazanove has become synonymous with family, dedication and a unique expertise carefully handed down through generations.

Maison Charles de Cazanove is the sixth largest producer in Champagne and the second largest proprietor of vineyards in the region. This allows them to produce over 3 million bottles a year while controlling the production, consistency and quality of its wines over a range of many unique estates — each with their own unique identity. Vinification mostly takes place in stainless steel vats, but some wines spend time in oak to acquire that wonderful fullness that only oak barrels provide. The wines take time to age in the traditional Champagne chalk cellar.

Champagne Vieille France Brut Rosé by Charles de Cazanove is unique in style and design, reminiscent of centuries-old tradition with the original, Champagne bell-shaped bottle.

An expressive Rosé, offering a pleasing juiciness to the spiced notes of ripe cherry, black currant, pastry, ground clove and blanched almond. This is finely textured, with a minerally base note and a lingering finish.
