Rafael Concepcion

Rafael Concepcion (LEED A.P) started cFab Studios with the idea of advancing lighting design through technology and creativity. His passion for design came at an early age. During his time in middle school, he was fascinated with the electives that involved creativity and fabrication. Wood shop and graphics class became Concepcion’s favorite courses. As he continued to pursue his creative abilities throughout high school, he became inspired to begin the initial pursuit of a professional career in Architecture.

Throughout his career in Architecture, Concepcion was exposed to the achievements of great designers. He learned that good design does not cost any more than bad design, and that a work of art can be created from the simplest of things. With a professional education in Architecture and skills in 3D visualization, photography, and electronics, he continued to advance his skills day by day. cFab Studios was born in 2012, and has since been featured on Gizmodo.com and technabob.com.

Currently Rafael Contributes his skills and knowledge to the field of Education. At Miami Dade College his students are able to get a personalized educational experience in their Architecture and Interior Design studies with his insight on Methods and Materials of Construction and many more design courses. He strives to maintain an authentic creative style that uses the most cutting-edge electronics and lighting technology available.
