Are they true to size?

Yes, they are true to size. However, keep in mind that Loafers are always going to fit more loosely than tie shoes. Loafers are meant to slip on and off of the feet easily, so slippage in the heel is almost unavoidable. However, your heels should not come completely out of the shoes with every step. We have a saying, "when loafers are new they are going to slip, the more you wear them the better they fit."
