Patina is a tarnish that develops on high-end metals. Through oxidization, patina is developed on this beautiful brass sculpture. Optimista Pessimist Statuette can be altered and contorted in several different positions, adding versatility and adaptability in any setting environment.
Currently operating in its fourth generation, each handmade sculpture is constructed in Carl's sculpting studio in Vienna.

About the Designer
Carl Auboeck's design studio is located in the bernardgasse, in the seventh District of Vienna. Starting in the 19th Century, Viennese bronzes were the original materials and techniques used when the company was first founded. With generational changes, the workshop has received new impetus, deriving from Carl Auboeck II's studies at the Weimar Bauhaus - the true beginning of the characteristic Auboeck design.
