Product Description
BuckHead has been providing meats to the best steak houses across the United States for the last 45 years. Their USDA prime beef is sourced from the Midwest and aged 28-35 days for the perfect flavor and tenderness. Each cut is hand selected, and each steak is cut by hand to steak house specifications.
The Chef's Tenderloin Steak Assortment includes 4USDA Select Center Cut 6 oz Tenderloin Filets and 2 USDA Select Center Cut 8 oz Tenderloin Filets.
To Thaw
All steaks should be left in the vacuum sealed package and placed on a plate in the refrigerator to thaw for 24 hours. This allows the product to retain all the natural juices. Never thaw product under hot water or at room temperature. Remove thawed meat from refrigerator half an hour before cooking.
To Cook
BuckHead recommends cooking steaks at 400°F. Whatever your preferred cooking method, start by lightly brushing the steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Aim for between 130-140°F for a perfect medium rare. Meat continues to cook after it is removed from heat, so remove 5°F before desired internal temperature. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. For best results, use a meat thermometer.
