Do you use toothpaste with Bristl?Yes and No. Normally, you can use Bristl as a sonic vibration toothbrush with light feature. But, when you have a problem (bleeding, canker sore, swelling, hypersensitivity), you can detach the brush and shine the light directly on the area of concern. To summarize, yes, please use Bristl with toothpaste (size of a pea is what is recommended by dentists) and without it when you use Bristl as a light irradiating device.
Do you need to replace the heads?Yes, you need to replace the heads. The brush part is replaceable so that you can keep using the handle semi-permanently. Refill brush comes in a package of 4 antimicrobial multi-layered bristles (also available for subscription service for more economical choice).
