The PX7 can receive any of the following codecs:

aptX™ Adaptive
aptX™ HD
aptX™ Classic
AAC
SBC

However, some devices don’t have the ability to switch to them. AAC is an apple proprietary format and IOS devices don’t let you switch to a different codec. Android devices do, so if the user has one they can switch their codec to any of the top 3 ones as long as that phone has the ability to support outputting it in that format.
