How do you tell time?

It is divided in an upper half (lighter color), which displays the daytime from 6 am to 6 pm and a lower half (darker color) which displays the night time from 6 pm to 6 am on the next day. During passing the dateline at 0 o'clock the date changes to the next day.
The outer scale of the dial is divided in several indices, every one stands for 10 minutes.
