This lovely vase is a symbol of the best in Swedish design—it combines highly innovative design with an unexpectedly simple product solution. A stainless steel sphere sits in the neck of the glass which allows you to easily arrange your flowers and this piece was hand made from mouth-blown glass.

Bjørn Poulsen

Bjørn Poulsen is a trained sculptor. He works with classic materials such as bronze and stoneware, but he also experiments with more unorthodox materials, such as laminated wood, tape, plaster, aluminium and acrylics.
In addition to these raw materials, he also works with objects such as inflated bicycle tubes, colanders and prefabricated plastics, such as Magrethe bowls, which are crushed and put together to create new shapes. This is also clearly reflected in his work for Kähler.
