Living in the shallow ocean waters off the East Coast of North America, the Gavialosuchus dwarfs modern saltwater crocodiles. Discovered in 1990 in a phosphate mine in Polk County, Florida, this Giant Fossil Crocodile (Gavialosuchus) Skull is considered the largest, most complete specimen ever found. Based on its 49" inch skull length, its total body length is estimated to have been between 25 feet and 30 feet. This cast perfectly captures the incredible details of the original fossil to create a truly impressive display.
