A tanto was typically carried in combination with a katana. All the tanto knives in this series include a traditional wooden sheath and fabric bag for storage or for safe transportation. The hilt of the Silver Dragon has a genuine ray skin underlay and a traditional wrapping. The menuki and the two mekugis are marks of high quality, while the blade is made from non-stainless classic carbon steel and features a decorative grind that boasts an indicated hamon (hardening line). The Silver Dragon is a particularly decorative embellishment of the refined tanto blade. The stainless steel tsuba prevents slipping onto the blade.
