A tanto was typically carried in combination with a katana. All the tanto knives in this series include a traditional wooden sheath and fabric bag for storage or for safe transportation. The Golden Dragon is humble but impressive. The 1045 carbon steel blade has a fine satin finish with a decorative grind that features the traditional hardening line. The elaborately designed tsuba creates a special appeal. The cotton-wrapped hilt, the genuine ray skin, and the golden-colored menuki round out the dignified appearance.
