Boarding Ring
Boarding Glasses // Motion Sickness Glasses
Product Description
Stop motion sickness in its tracks with Boarding Glasses. This patented device effectively counteracts the effects of motion sickness thanks to a blue liquid that reacts to the vehicle’s accelerations. The liquid inside moves around the eyes in the frontal direction (left-right), and in the sagittal direction (front-rear) to create an artificial horizon in the periphery of your visual field without disturbing the central vision. This eliminates the sensory mismatch between the eyes and the inner ears so the symptoms of motion sickness fade in a few minutes.
Boarding glasses are lightweight, comfortable to wear over prescription glasses, and are perfectly sized to be shared with the whole family on your next roadtrip, flight, train ride, or sailing adventure. You don't have to wear the Boarding Glasses throughout your entire trip either. Simply wear them when you first begin to feel the effects of motion sickness and your senses will synchronize in about ten minutes. When everything is back to normal, you can take off your glasses and enjoy the rest of your trip.
Boarding Ring is a family startup located in the South of France. The adventure began in 2015 with an ambitious mission: to treat kinetosis (motion sickness) by targeting the cause rather than the symptoms. The company is managed by brothers Antoine and Renaud Jeannin, and is the result of an in-depth research conducted by their father Hubert on sensory perceptions. Whatever your destination or mode of transportation, the Boarding team is committed to making your trip as comfortable as possible.
Boarding Ring won an Innovation Award at CES 2019 in Las Vegas for its "Seenetic VR" system: a breakthrough innovation that avoids virtual reality sickness and is based on the same approach as Boarding Glasses.
