The glass Dino Sphere from BioPop is a micro-aquarium, a solar-powered showpiece, and a salute to Bioluminescence - one of nature's most extraordinary phenomena - that you can hold in the palm of your hand.
What appears to be an ordinary glass orb, is actually filled with microscopic sea life called Dinoflagellates, that naturally fluoresce when gently shaken. These interactive living organisms truly respond to proper care, glowing more brightly the better they are cared for. Unhappy dinos don't glow as bright. Simply leave your orb out of direct sunlight, don't disturb it too frequently, and feed it about once a week with the Dino Nutrients, and you'll be on your way to a miniature ecosystem that's entirely yours.

With the proper care, your dinoflagellates (dinos) have the potential to live indefinitely.
Dinos require:
-Moderate lighting 8-14 hours a day
-Moderate temperature, ideal 69° F (range 63° F – 77° F) or 20° C (range 17° C to 25° C)
-Small, regular feedings (beneficial for optimal health)
With small feedings of Dino Food (for the Dino Pet) or Dino Nutrients (for the Dino Sphere) every 7-10 days, your dinos can potentially reproduce indefinitely!
