About the Designer

Designer Bernard James’ eponymous accessories line began in the fall of 2010. The brand was born out of the need for sophisticated but transitional pieces that could suit a man’s entire lifestyle. His belief that accessories should complement, not overpower, the wearer is demonstrated by strong statement pieces that lend themselves to be worn in a variety of ways. Bernard creates with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and individuality. The accessories are all composed of solid sterling silver and smooth genuine leather. Every component, from the clasps to the links, is crafted, cast, cleaned, polished, and finished traditionally by hand in New York City. An amalgam of this traditional technique and a modern concept makes each piece not only an adornment, but also a work of art.
