The Odyssey

With eyes fixed towards the future, Bandit9 Motors continues to push the motorcycle to its limits. And today, a new benchmark has been set with the arrival of the Odyssey. Drawing inspiration from science fiction films and books, Bandit9 takes the motorcycle industry away from vintage bikes and tired retro designs and introduces a new optimistic, futuristic vision of two-wheeled transportation.

Without the limitations of using a base bike, Bandit9 took more than two years to bring the Odyssey to life. By building the motorcycle from the ground up, they were able to bring fearless design, cutting edge engineering and technology, unparalleled quality and the finest of materials into the Odyssey.

Bandit9’s flagship is built from their new operation based in Singapore. With access to precision machines, the Odyssey is built to accuracy with extremely tight tolerances measured in nanometers. Although the Odyssey is finished by machines, the original model was done completely by hand to ensure the bike has that human touch.

The focal point on all Bandit9 motorcycles is the unibody – the element that unifies components like the tank, seat, rear cowl, and lights, into one piece. The Odyssey takes that concept one step further and covers the entirety of its body in luxury grade steel finished in a black glass coat. And the result: a motorcycle with grandeur and gravitas; a design so simplistic, understated would be an understatement.

Inspired by the American bison, the Odyssey displays a natural dominance in its stance. Like an alpha male at the head of the pack, the Odyssey’s brooding solid form hints at the power that lies beneath. It features a 1400cc V-Twin engine that delivers tremendous power and torque.

The brushed steel bezel is a wonderful piece of engineering that serves numerous functions. The silver bezel locks the unibody onto the frame, a seamlessly hidden piece swivels and becomes the side stand, and the front end serves as the grill with a beautiful hexagonal pattern while the rear supports the rear lighting system.

The Odyssey spares no expense in its choice of materials and accessories – 904L steel, Borani rims, Marzocchi forks, Beringer Aerotec brake systems, memory foam seat covered in Italian leather, OLED lighting systems and of course the See-through Avionics Display.

One of the most exciting and forward thinking features of the Odyssey is the Avionics display. Designed to vanish when off, the Avionics system lights up from beneath the surface of the unibody and functions as the rider’s guidance systems with speed, GPS, and trip information.
