About the Designer

Tanju Özelgin

Born in Istanbul,Turkey, Tanju Özelgin graduated from the University of Marmara with a degree in Industrial Design, shortly after which he founded the design office "Scala". With Scala he designed and applied fair stands, yachts, showrooms, houses, offices, private presentation night concepts, furniture and industrial products, but that wasn't enough.
In 1996 he founded "Parlak Kirmizi Design Studio" with Ertan Binme, where interior design projects and applications, designs and development of industrial products, preparation of digital and video graphics are being done. Since then he has created his own brand in addition to participating in many exhibitions as the jury member, participant of exhibitions, and director of workshops. He also assists in education process as a lecturer and project advisor, and continues to work with the companies like Nurus, Derin, BT, Birim, Crea Concept, Print Center, and so on.
