Awa Glass by Studio Note

The Awaglass is a play on both the traditional hour glass and the specificity of time. First developed by Norihiko Terayama, these are the original liquid soap hourglasses that won't fog up over time. Showcasing the passing of an undetermined amount of minutes through an indeterminate and cascade of bubbles, these sculptures are consummately modern and playfully ironic. Hand-blown by skilled craftsmen, they're a gorgeous way to pass the time.
