R-2800 Desk Clock // Raw
Product Description
This industrial modern art desk clock was created using an authentic 1940's WWII Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp Radial Engine Piston. The R-2800 is considered one of the premier radial piston engines ever designed and notable for its widespread use in many important American aircraft during and after World War II.
The R-2800 was used to power many of the greatest airplanes ever built including the Curtiss C-46 Commando, Douglas DC-6, Grumman F6F Hellcat, and Vought F4U Corsair. This raw edition was blasted to bare metal right off the plane.
