The 146 features 146 square feet of space, with seamless pine walls and 8 foot ceiling, engineered oak hardwood floors, LED lighting, and functional plugs. The exterior features maintenance-free metal siding and a white roof for solar reflection.

While the aux box is being built, a minimal foundation and appropriate electrical components are installed on your property. As soon as construction is complete, the aux box can be delivered and installed—and without the typical construction mess in your yard.

The aux box is typically set on a foundation made either of 4 to 6 concrete pads, or 4 to 6 piles (concrete or metal screw piles). Since no building permits are typically required, a site visit from the team at aux box or a trusted contractor are all you need to determine the proper installation for your new space.
