This scale solar system is the product of over three years of careful design and development using data gathered on NASA Missions. Each planet is expertly 3D printed to provide an accurate representation made from the highest quality VisiJet PXL—a special powder derived from gypsum. This naturally occurring mineral contains calcium, sulfur, and water. It is dissolved in oceans and lakes around the world, and can even be found on Mars in the gypsum sand dunes near the Martian North Pole. As a 3D printing material, it is identical to plaster of paris, ensuring each planet is durable, precise, and accurately portrays the planet's true colors.
This includes every planet (including Pluto!) along with a set of crystal bases to display each one in all its glory. Altogether Solar System to Scale is a distinct landmark that beautifully illustrates our current collective knowledge of our place in the universe.
