This new, rare find from near the Tunezrouft plateau in the Sahara Desert of Algeria is classified as a Rumuruti Chondrite (R3). Discovered in 2017, this uniquely composed meteorite features breccia in a fine grain matrix with chondrules visible throughout the specimen – but this meteorite was formed in a unique atmosphere than that of ordinary chondrites. A must-have for any meteorite collector or budding historian.
