The Seymchan meteorite is a Pallasite meteorite found in Russia in the settlement of Seymchan. Found in 1967, it is one of only a few meteorites that we can call a pallasite. Pallasites are a type of meteorite with beautiful green olivine crystals growing within with a coarse octahedrite stony-iron pattern. These are coveted by collectors and especially pieces with a high olivine content are few and far in between. A wonderful addition to any meteorite or mineral collection, this particular specimen has 5 polished sides with the rear side remaining in its natural condition.
