Found in the Hell Creek Formation in Montana, these Triceratops teeth are from the late Cretaceous era of 68-66 million years ago. Triceratops, along with all known species of dinosaurs, continuously generated new teeth. Much like modern sharks, a single dinosaur could shed up to 25,000 teeth in its lifetime. Weight of box is approximate.
