This fossilized tooth belonged to a Spinosaurus (meaning "spined reptile”), the largest carnivorous dinosaur to ever exist. This behemoth lived in present-day Morocco approximately 97.5-95 million years ago. An excellent addition for any fossil lover’s collection. Weight of box is approximate.

Is there information on where it was excavated and the time period and even the person who acquired it?

I know it is hard to read but all that information is on the box. It is from Morocco. They are found in large parts of atlas mountains. As to whom excavated it is found in quarries that have 100’s of men digging.
