Product Description
This rare fossil is the tail spike of a Stegosaurus from the Jurassic period approximately 145-196 million years ago. Seldom will you come across such a complete specimen. This piece is reconstructed from 90% actual bone. Most of the portions that are not bone are toward the very tip. It was unearthed in the Morrison Formation in Wyoming and comes on a custom metal stand with informational plaque.
