Product Description

Carcharodontosaurus, or the African T. Rex, was a large carnivorous dinosaur similar to the T-Rex with a much larger skull, although it was actually more related to the Gigantosaurus. It may have reached up to 43 feet in length and weighed up to 7.5 tons. Its skull was up to six feet long with serrated teeth up to eight inches. This specimen was found in the Kem Kem beds in the Sahara Desert, Morocco. It dates back to the Cretaceous period (146-65 million years ago) and comes in a display box.
