This Libyan Desert Glass is found in areas in the eastern Sahara, in the deserts of eastern Libya, and western Egypt. This specimen is estimated to have formed 29 million years ago. It is considered a tektite formed by a meteorite fall. It has translucent, but vibrant hues of yellow-and white with an organic shape.
