The artisan who created this piece carved this from a single piece of gem quality jade, including both chains, with links that extend the height of the boat. Along with incredible detail throughout the boat from the sails to the bilge, this piece of jade has beautiful, consistent transparency. This carving is unlike any other, and would make for a spectacular collector's piece. The boat carving includes a custom, wooden stand.
