Nantan Meteorite + Display Frame
Product Description
This single piece of Genuine Nantan Meteorite was collected in the Nantan Meteorite debris field in the 1950s, and comes in a labeled display box with color image and a brief written description.
The fall of the Nantan meteorite might have been observed when it fell to Earth over China in 1516. The meteorite burst during passage through the atmosphere and the pieces were scattered in a strewn field 17 miles long and 5 miles wide near the city of Nantan, Guangxi China. Appropriately, the meteorite was named after the city.
