This Goldstone Point On Base is hand-shaped from AAA-quality red goldstone with all sides hand polished to a smooth mirror finish. Despite what its name implies, there is no gold in Goldstone. In fact, Goldstone is man-made glass infused with copper particles. It was invented by the Miotti family in Venice during the seventeenth century.
