This beautiful framed display piece includes one large Eunica Alpais butterfly that can be observed from both sides. The butterfly in this frame are raised on butterfly farms in Peru. These butterflies are not killed for display. After the butterflies have lived their lifespan, they are then collected and put into these frames. In doing this, the butterflies are able to fully mature and also reproduce on the butterfly farms free of natural predators. No endangered species are used in this collection.
