Genuine Polished Orthoceras Fossil Statue // V2
Product Description
A giant, hand-shaped, tower of clustered Orthoceras fossils in a sea-bed matrix. Standing two feet tall, this would be an absolutely stunning display piece in any interior.
The orthoceras mollusk lived in abundance during the Paleozoic Era about 250 to 750 million years ago. Orthoceras ("straight horn") is a slender, elongate shells with the middle of the body chamber transversely constricted, and a subcentral orthochromatic siphuncle. The surface is ornamented by a network of fine lirae. A member of the class Cephalopoda, they are closely related to the extinct giant Cephalopod and present-day chambered nautilus.
