Seymchan is a pallasite meteorite found in June 1967 in the dry bed of the Hekandue river, a left tributary of the Jasačnaja river in the Magadan district of Russia. Renowned for their robust crystalline patterns, the latticework is indicative of a slow cooling rate that provided sufficient time— millions of years — for the two metallic alloys to form their intricate intergrowth.
