This extraordinary piece is a museum-quality, 150 lb optical Quartz Sphere shaped from one solid gemmy quartz crystal. This specimen has great transparency and is hand-polished to a beautiful smooth and highly reflective finish. It is mounted on an illuminated solid bronze base that is hand carved by crystal and mineral artist Jim Wickard. This one of a kind, handcrafted bronze base is also signed by the artist.
