Blue coral is a species of colonial coral. It is the only octocoral known to produce a massive skeleton. Individual polyps live in tubes within the skeleton and are connected by a thin layer of tissue over the outside of the skeleton. Blue ridge corals have a gorgeous natural color only mother nature can provide. They vary in size and shape, but they're cut flat on the bottom so they stand up on their own. The Natural Blue Ridge Coral complies with the strict regulation on coral reef harvesting.
