Product Description

This is a print designed in 1966 depicting the flight configuration of the famed Saturn V rocket. Designed to fly three Apollo astronauts to the moon and back, the Saturn V made its first unmanned test flight in 1967. A total of 13 Saturn V rockets were launched from 1967 until 1973, carrying Apollo missions as well as the Skylab space station. This particular image was obtained from the University of Alabama in Huntsville archives. The poster has a very noticeable dot matrix printing style, which can clearly be seen when closely examined.
