Château Lafitte has existed since 1763—producing premier Côtes de Bordeaux in an exceptional location at the gates of Bordeaux. The winery enjoys a breathtaking view of the Garonne valley. The thirty hectare vineyard benefits from a magnificent terroir composed of: 40% Graves stony, 30% Argilo Limestones, 30% Fine Siliceous Graves. The unique typicity of Château Lafitte wine is partly due to its grape variety: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The palate is fleshy and smooth, generously medium bodied, and well balanced. A good texture accompanied by a beautiful liveliness, gives this wine a real capacity for aging. The finish is charming and juicy, which will allow it to be appreciated quite quickly, or placed in the cellar for aging.
