About the Designer

Shimon Finkelstein and Eyal Shoam, owners and cofounders of Artemano, have loved wood furnishings for a long, long time. Since opening their doors on a small Laval street in 2002, they've expanded all across Canada and become powerhouses in their field. It's no wonder: their eye for clean-cut, contemporary furnishings with stories to tell is honed in a way that only decades of experience — and extensive travel to the exotic places they source their materials from — can bring. From the Rosewood and Mango wood of India to the Suar and Teak of Thailand to the recycled woods of Indonesia, they live for utterly unique pieces.
