Homage to Bleriot // Robert Delaunay
Product Description
This particular canvas print is of a piece by Robert Delaunay. Robert Delaunay (1885 – 1941) was a French artist who, with his wife Sonia Delaunay and others, co-founded the Orphism art movement, noted for its use of strong colors and geometric shapes. His early works were decidedly Cubist, and his later works were more abstract, reminiscent of fellow Cubist Paul Klee. His key influence related to bold use of color and a clear love of experimentation with both depth and tone.
