"Duality" // Limited Edition Print

"Duality" is a limited edition giclee on canvas by Arbe Ara Berberyan. Complete with gold embellishing, this piece is individually numbered, hand signed, and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Growing up in Soviet Armenia, Arbe Berberyan received recognition for his talent very early in life, and had his first exhibition at the age of twelve. His paintings were sent by the U.S.S.R. on an international tour, but of the 65 paintings Arbe showed between 1970 and 1972 , only four returned to Armenia. The rest were sold and placed on permanent exhibition in State Buildings throughout the Soviet Union.

Arbe graduated with a Masters Degree in 1981 and promptly began his career as a fine artist creating murals for airports, theaters, hotels, and other government projects. In 1984, Arbe immigrated to the United States and before long, began to show his paintings in California.

Inspired by great artists like Dali, Picasso, Rembrandt, and Klimt, Arbe's original pieces are primarily oil on canvas, elevated by intricately applied gold leaf and metallic details that create unique textures in the abstract backgrounds of many of his paintings. The effect he achieves is a mixture of classical and modern styles that makes a big impact anywhere they are displayed.
