Is there a TSA bypass for travel luggage in airports?

There is not a TSA bypass. This can only be used with carry-on luggage not checked luggage.

Does it have keys? How long does battery last?

It is only un-lockable by fingerprint. Can support up to 1000 unlocks on a single charge.

Does the lock have a way of indicating when it needs to be charged rather than waiting until it is no longer responsive?

Yes, the lock will flash a red light low battery indicate when there are roughly 50 lock and unlocks left.
