These are RARE Large piece of mummy-wrappings dating from Egypt's Third Intermediate Period c. 900-700 BC. Tan to brown color, with dark stains from the resins and oils used during the mummification practice. Measures roughly 2" x 3 1/2", mounted in frame with informational plaque. Recovered from a sarcophagus owned by BC Antiques, Los Angeles CA gallery closed in the 1970's. A fantastic gift or display piece!
